The website has had some surgery. Rather than using a menu at the side we now have a set of tabs and the walk notes have been moved off to a separate page. You can also resize your web browser window and the site will resize as well. Any feedback on the new look would be welcome!

Welcome to the Laune Mountaineering Club. We're based in Killorglin Co.Kerry, Ireland. Killorglin is situated on the banks of the river Laune, hence our name! We are surrounded by the highest mountains in Ireland, so we are very lucky to have lots of varied and interesting walks within a short driving distance.
We walk every second Sunday, usually with a more strenuous route and either a moderate or an easy trip on the walking calendar. We vary starting times to suit those who can not spend a whole day on the mountain, and try to bring all groups together for a social drink in a pub at the end of each walk. New members are always welcome, download an application form if interested or find out more about us.
